Ski touring in Lofoten
The mountains of Lofoten rise directly from the sea and offer an incredible variety of ski touring. Within relatively short distances, we can find everything from relaxed summit tours to bigger days in the mountains.
There is no fixed list of summits for the week.
Each day, our IFMGA Mountain Guides/Nortind Skiguides assess the weather, snow conditions and the level of the group before choosing the best tour for the day.
Some days might be about finding the best snow. Other days might take us to a classic Lofoten summit with views across the mountains and ocean.
The goal is simple: to make the most of every day in the mountains.
Stay at Trevarefabrikken
Trevarefabrikken is much more than a place to sleep.
Located by the sea in Henningsvær, the former factory has become one of the village’s most distinctive meeting places.
Accommodation, food, sauna and a relaxed social atmosphere come together under one roof.
After a long day of skiing, return to Henningsvær, warm up in the sauna, enjoy good food and share the day’s experiences.
It is the combination of life in the mountains and everything that happens afterwards that makes the Trevare Ski Week special.

Who is the Trevare Ski Week for?
This trip is for skiers looking for more than just guided days in the mountains.
It is ideal for solo travellers, couples and friends who enjoy meeting other people and sharing the experience as part of a small group.
Previous ski touring experience is recommended. You should be comfortable spending several hours outside in winter conditions and skiing confidently in varied snow.
You don’t need to be an expert. Our guides adapt the tours to the group, but good physical fitness and solid basic skiing skills are important.
More than a ski trip
The mountains are the reason we come.
But some of the best moments happen afterwards.
A sauna by the sea. Dinner together. Stories from the day’s skiing and plans for tomorrow.

Practical information
The exact ski program is decided during the stay and depends on the weather, snow conditions and the group.
Ski touring equipment and complete avalanche safety equipment are required. Rental equipment can be arranged on request.
Flights, transport to and from Lofoten and ski equipment are not included unless otherwise stated in your booking.
